Exploring musical development in the early years and developing practical music making sessions for children in the early years including SEND.

This session uses both theoretical and practical applications in the use of the Soundabout ComMUSICation Kitbag as a tool for encouraging engagement, interaction and self-awareness. The Sounds of Intent in the Early Years assessment tool will be used to support ways of monitoring and recording development. This course is ideal for those using music to build effective resources and programmes for children in the early years.
