Inclusive music making using voice, rhythm and resonance boards
This INSET day provides an in-depth introduction to Soundabout’s methods. The day takes a practical and experiential approach to creative expression using inclusive and simple musical ideas. It aims to give all staff a practical insight into the value and use of musical techniques which will broaden their use of spontaneous musical communication in the breadth of the student’s school life. The day can be an excellent way of generating a whole school or department enthusiasm which can be followed up by in-class training.
INSET days are available for up to twenty members of staff per session.

Taster days
A taster day will give you an introduction in the classroom to Soundabout’s philosophy and a flavour of how our methods might work for your school. (Please note that full training is necessary for staff to gain the confidence needed to plan and lead Soundabout sessions and incorporate the techniques fully into daily practice.)
