Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders is a one-year programme where Learning Disabled people enhance their leadership skills and confidence while preparing to become the music practitioners of the future.

What do Emerging Leaders do?

Emerging Leaders meet for weekly online sessions in small groups, where we play games, develop skills and make new friends. We also have an in-person Get Together in Oxford roughly once every term.

Over the course of the year, Emerging Leaders work together to complete the Bronze Arts Award (or another suitable qualification).

After completing the one-year Emerging Leaders programme, you will become a Graduate Emerging Leader. There are a number of pathways you can then follow, including voluntary and paid Work Experience.
