This module stimulates the creation of multi-sensory environments that inspire and encourage interaction. It also highlights the role of the leader in how to plan and deliver simple and effective music sessions that encourage interaction and help develop the personal and social skills of each participant.

Making music within multi-sensory themed environments are about inspiring and empowering each person with special needs to be an active participant enabling them to influence the music and the content of what happens and above all to have a motivating and enjoyable experience.

This module is part of the PGCert in Music and special Needs: Sounds of Intent  developed by the Roehampton University and based in Birmingham and Soundabout Headquarters.
