Soundabout is able to work across the UK by developing partnerships with Music Hubs, Schools, community groups, care providers and business. An example of this was our partnership with the wonderful New Theatre in Oxford:
“As a live music and entertainment venue, Soundabout’s aim to give disabled children and adults a voice through the use of music, rhythm and sound is something we can both support and enhance. We’re excited to be working with this inspiring organisation and hope that audiences will join us in supporting them throughout 2017.”
“Soundabout are proud to be the New Theatre‘s charity of the year for 2017 and the support of the cast has been phenomenal. This is such a fantastic way to build the synergy between this historic theatre and the disabled children and adults to whom we give a voice through music, sound and rhythm.“
The cast of hit musical, The Commitments, demonstrating their ‘commitment’ to a good cause – As a finale to the show, they performed a rendition of the anthem Reach Out, and asked audience members to reach into their pockets and donate to Soundabout.
