Volunteering for Soundabout is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and make a real difference to the lives of Learning Disabled children and adults with complex support needs.

Current Opportunities

We are looking to recruit two new trustees to bolster the board. We are particularly keen to welcome board members that represent the community we serve including Disabled people and / or parents/carers supporting Learning Disabled people with complex support needs.

Soundabout’s current Chair of the Trustee board is stepping down, so we are eager to hear from people who are interested in taking on the Chair role upon joining the board or within the next 6-12 months dependent on the candidate.

As a trustee, you will use your skills, experience and insight to ensure the charity is run in a way that is legal, responsible and effective. You will help ensure that we deliver on what we say we will do and use the money we raise as effectively as possible. You will also work with our staff to set the future direction of the charity.
