Inclusive Choir – Peterborough

What is the Soundabout Inclusive Choir for Peterborough Youth?

The Soundabout Inclusive Choir for Peterborough Youth (launched Saturday 26th September 2020) is a brand new choir delivered as a partnership between the charity and the Peterborough Music Hub. Its aim is to create a musical community without barriers.

The choir welcomes young people of all abilities up to the age of 18.

Who runs the Peterborough Inclusive Choir?

How do I sign up to the Peterborough Inclusive Choir?

If you are a parent or carer, living with a learning disability yourself, or are a singer who would be interested in getting involved, please click the button below where there will be a form to fill out to register your interest. It’s free to join in, with the option of making a suggested £5 donation.

Our experience in Oxford has shown us the powerful impact that an inclusive choir has on all involved – creating a musical community around children and young people with disabilities builds confidence in their own musicality and ability to form relationships. Some of the members will be singers, others may use technology or traditional instruments to make their contribution – all are welcome. Our team is aspirational in our approach and we are always looking to create exciting opportunities for leadership and performance within the choir.
