Graduate Emerging Leaders Lead London Event
On Thursday 1st May, Soundabout’s Graduate Emerging Leaders led a presentation in London, helping to spread the word about Soundabout.
Not only did they lead a fantastic hello, warm up, and Q and A, but they also effortlessly managed to get a room full of people to join together in song and sound making, all against the backdrop of the big city.
A huge congratulations, and thank you, to our Graduate Emerging Leaders!
The event, ‘Soundabout in the City’, was an opportunity for Soundabout to meet new potential supporters and partners. Held at A&O Shearman above Spitalfields Market, the event was made possible by the kind support of generous donors.
Alongside the Graduate Emerging Leader contributions, we heard from Soundabout parent Liz Chaplin, who spoke about how she enjoys Soundabout online activities with her daughter Ava. Liz’s incredibly powerful speech got to the heart of why Soundabout opportunities are vital to the lives of those who use them, while touching the hearts of everyone listening in the room!
If you’d like to support Soundabout in any way, be it through donations, partnerships, or as a parent championing our work, please contact info@soundabout.org.uk or give us a call on 01235 797474.
