Introducing Our New Marketing and Communications Officer, Emily Bartlett

Hello!

I am so pleased to have joined the Soundabout team.

With 20 years of experience in delivering and promoting creative activities across the public, charity, and higher-education sectors, I am passionate about helping to communicate opportunities for people to engage in music and the arts. Soundabout’s vision and mission deeply resonates with me, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a vibrant and inclusive team.

Growing up, I was encouraged to develop my artistic and musical talents through art and music lessons, and performing with choirs and orchestras. Those early experiences helped to shape my belief that creative expression should be available to everyone.

In addition to my work in the arts, I am also a Certified Mindfulness Teacher and BSOM Accredited Meditation Teacher. I care deeply about wellbeing and creating spaces where people feel valued, supported, and heard.

At Soundabout, I’ll be helping to communicate and promote the stories, activities, and opportunities that make this community so special. I am looking forward to connecting more with everybody in the Soundabout community, and helping to raise awareness of the incredible music-making happening here.
