Calling All Choirs and Music Groups

Sparkle with Soundabout: Stars

This winter, we are lighting up the season with the 2026 Sparkle with Soundabout campaign: Stars – where we want to shine a light on how music and sound can transform the lives of Learning Disabled people by creating opportunities where we can sparkle like stars together.

Be a Star

As Part of Sparkle with Soundabout: Stars, our talented team of Emerging Leaders, and Graduate Emerging Leaders, have composed a brand-new song ‘Star’, and now we’re passing the microphone to you, and inviting you to be part of its first ever recording and music video!

Taking part is simple:

  • Sign-up to register your interest.
  • Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you everything you need – resources, instructions, and tips on how to record your choir.
  • You can record as a group or individually, then submit your recording by 5pm on 15th November 2026.
  • Your performance will then be featured in our final video, and shared with over 10,000 followers across our social media.

Be a Super Star

Lots of groups also like to use their involvement in Sparkle with Soundabout as an opportunity to help fundraise for us. This might be at your winter concert, through hosting a sparkly jumper day, or even through your own creative idea.

If you choose to fundraise, you’ll join our team of Super Stars, and we’ll shine an even brighter light on your group through sharing details of your concert or other fundraising activities, through our social media pages, and email newsletters (if you want us to).

Fundraising is completely optional and not required to take part in the music video. However, if your choir is interested in being a Super Star with us, you’ll be able to create a fundraising page at the end of the sign-up.

Let’s Shine like Stars Together

We hope that you can join us for Sparkle with Soundabout: Stars. Together we can use music to light up the lives of Learning Disabled people.
