Philanthropic Support

The support that Soundabout receives from Charitable Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors is critical to enable us to support children, young people and adults with learning disabilities across the UK, pilot new approaches, develop our services, extend our reach and fund core costs.

Since Soundabout was established in 1995, thousands of disabled children, young people and adults have enjoyed making music with their families, friends and local communities, thanks to the support of Charitable Trusts, Foundations and other kind donors.

Through long-term relationships, we have developed a range of impactful projects to unlock the potential of children, young people and adults with severe and profound learning disabilities by helping them to develop their ability to communicate and interact with the world around them through music and sound.

We work closely with philanthropic supporters to report on the impact of their grant. We can provide:

  • Progress reports on the impact of your philanthropic support on the lives of children, young people and families
  • Invitations to Soundabout events (virtual and Inclusive Choir performances)
  • Opportunities to visit, meet and talk with staff, specialist music practitioners and volunteers
  • Recognition on social media and other publicity – or anonymity if preferred
