Wiltshire Choirs Sing Together for Make Music Day

To mark Make Music Day on Monday 21st June we were proud to be premiere this wonderful new video by the Soundabout Inclusive Choir for Wiltshire Youth and Wiltshire Youth Choirs.

Wiltshire Music Connect commissioned “Together” – a song for Wiltshire during lockdown last year. Composers Tim Gilvin and Louise Jordan had been due to work in schools when the pandemic hit last year – so instead they were asked to write a song using words sent in by young people. “Together” was the result.

To celebrate being together again they invited schools to join in and sing the song in playgrounds and on school fields on June 21st at 2.15pm.

As part of this project the Soundabout Inclusive Choir for Wiltshire Youth and Wiltshire Youth Choirs collaborated to produce this music video, featuring an animated Wiltshire skyline, which was recorded from home due to COVID restrictions.
